Thermal imager

General information

The TESTO thermal imager tool, available in MOLAB, is highly portable and lightweight, making it ideal for in-situ surveys.

The camera can convert infrared (not visible) into a visible image showing the temperature distribution on the surface of the measured object without direct contact with the object to be analysed.

Depending on the temperature, a different colour is assigned, and the resulting matrix is sent to the memory and to the display of the camera as an image of the temperature (thermal) of the object.

In the field of Cultural Heritage it is possible to acquire good-quality thermograms even at considerable distances or when a very high thermal resolution of the pixels is needed to detect cracked paintings or wall textures.

With each thermal image, a real, well-lit image can also be captured. The camera can be used in conjunction with the DHSPI holographic system.
